There's a common saying "Those who can't do, teach."
For the most part, this is true.
Most people teaching and preaching have never done what they are proclaiming as the "truth."
There's only one way to get good at something and to find the "truth" and that's through relentless neverending practice and application in the real world (where you fail over and over again).
Doers (those who can do) tend to stick to doing. Non-doers (those who can't do) tend to teach.
Non-doers tend to stay in their intellectual, "theoretical" safe harbor, where grammar, cool-looks, and respect from peers trump real-world results.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.
This is why those who can't do, teach. But those who can do, teach best.
The best doer is the best teacher because all teaching is, is the transfer of knowledge about how to do. Therefore, the best doers teach best.
That's why I spend 90% of doing... Building eCommerce businesses, solving problems, getting into the details and submerging myself in the new strategies and ever-changing eCommerce landscape.
Once I find something that works: I analyze my way of doing and form the theory upon what works in practice.
That's how I get people results...
Because the information was born in the practice of doing.
